Remote Education, Online School, Self-Study, etc. was science fiction before the COVID-19 pandemic as no one imagine that all education will be sometime fully online, thanks to all the technological breakthroughs that made this possible and efficient nowadays.
Online Education has many critical cons besides all its advantages and solutions; but despite these cons, no one can dismiss that it is the only available efficient solution in case of crisis, closures, immigration, wars, etc.
I can say if we can find solutions for the following cons, we can reach efficient online education (in terms of outcomes), at least for the previous cases where it is the only available solution:
- Appropriate online content for targeted audiences.
- Bank of tests what increase the level of evaluation.
- Courses Accreditation for certificate approval.
- Internet Access limited the benefits and decrease the number of beneficiaries.
Our solution is to develop an Open Educational Platform for everyone to subscribe to with the following features that respond to the previous cons:
- Developing appropriate courses by experts in every course/field with all explanation materials benefitting from all multimedia features available for electronic materials.
- Creating a bank of tests with the feature to be increased by operation.
- We communicated with UNESCO and we got their acceptance to support such a project that gives credibility and acceptance by governmental and private sectors.
- Offline Courses with Synchronize feature what make the electronic education more accessible in any case.
One of the main reasons for this project is the number of workshops and sessions we delivered; every workshop and session beneficiaries are only the attended persons, while it will be a great occasion to develop from every session and workshop an online course open for everyone to subscribe, attend, evaluated, and certified. Moreover, this solution will be designed to be available in the second phase for schools, colleges, and university courses conforming with the country curriculum with classes and grading systems that try to solve the crisis cases.
